The intervation of Thessaloniki's Mayor about the reconstruction of TIF's area.

Konstantinos Zervas expressed his full support of the Municipality of Thessaloniki about the renovation plan of the exhibition center of the city.

The Mayor of Thessaloniki, Konstantinos Zervas, intervened in the crucial meeting of the Central Council for Urban Issues and Disputes, during which the Urban Plan for the Implementation of the Special Urban Plan for the TIF was approved.

The Mayor, according to municipal sources, expressed the full support of the administration to the reconstruction planof the exhibition center of the city.

It is recalled that this plan was submitted for approval at the meeting of Central Council for Urban Issues and Disputes, which held by teleconference, chaired by the General Secretary of Spatial Planning and Urban Environment Mr. Efthymis Bakogiannis, after the positive opinion given by the Municipal Council of Thessaloniki, on this issue earlier this month.

According to the same sources, Konstantinos Zervas pointed out the crucial need for all relevant procedures to run as fast as possible, on the basis that the renovation of the TIF premises is one of the largest development projects planned for Thessaloniki.
