Georgios Chatzopoulos, is a Chemical Engineer, consultant & researcher in environmental projects and regional development.

He has more than 30 years of professional experience in environmental studies, planning-management-evaluation of Regional and National Sustainable Development Programs, knowledge of public administration and European policies. 

Ηe has experience in coordinating and leading multi-member project teams in studies and consulting services. He has a proven involvement in areas of location and environmental licensing of complex projects.

He has collaborated on projects such as, for example:
Strategic Environmental Assessment, environmental impact studies, Sustainable urban development strategic plans, Special Spatial Plans, incentives for energy savings.
